DIVAS! – the smash-hit show that celebrates some of the most heralded female artists of our time – is returning to Tauranga for one arena concert on November 28.

The DIVAS! Christmas Special will feature a night of hits from the greatest divas of the past six decades, including a sprinkle of Christmas songs to start the festive season in the Bay.

This year’s show will be performed by four of New Zealand’s treasured vocalists and entertainers: the original lineup of Jackie Clarke, Tina Cross, Suzanne Lynch will be expanded with the addition of singer/songwriter Annie Crummer.

With the DIVAS! live band, the all-star Christmas Special features new songs, a larger venue, arena-scale production, and a festive theme to party into summer, Events Innovated managing director Heath Ingham said.

“After the 2024 Tauranga premiere sold out two shows within a matter of days, DIVAS! went on a national tour to full houses and rave reviews,” Ingham said.

“The feedback from the last shows was incredible. Audiences were blown away, so we’re excited to be bringing it back to Tauranga and putting it into Mercury Baypark Arena with a new show, bigger production, adding the legendary Annie Crummer and the extra touch of some Christmas songs too.”

Ingham said the show will include songs from some of the best acts in the business, including Dolly Parton, Aretha Franklin, Bette Midler, Tina Turner, Mariah Carey, Adele, P!NK, and others.

“It’s a super fun show for any age group – 30-year-olds are dancing alongside 80-year-olds. It’s just an amazing night out.”
