The much-anticipated Bayern Restaurant and Bar is now open on Wharf Street in the heart of Tauranga, serving delicious German food including schnitzels, pork knuckles, rouladen and eight German varieties of sausages.

'We have many non-meat options, including a vegetarian lasagne and cheesy egg noodle pasta,” says Bayern Restaurant's Bryan Hopkins.

As well as having their own Bayern Larger, Carlsberg and Somersby Cider on tap, they stock a range of German and Austrian beers and popular wines.
