The latest two-year top line statistics confirms The Weekend Sun leads the region's readership at 83,000 readers aged 15-plus.
Average readership in the Tauranga/Bay of Plenty circulation area shows The Weekend Sun has 124 per cent more (+46,000) average issue readers aged 15-plus than the Bay of Plenty Times.
Exclusivity and duplication: one insert in The Weekend Sun (Average Issue Readership) reaches 58,000 exclusive readers compared to one insert in the Bay of Plenty Times (AIR) which would only reach 12,000 exclusive readers.
Then from key insights: attitudes of The Weekend Sun readers, statistics show 68 per cent eat healthy if it tastes good, 56 per cent feel technology is changing so fast they find it hard to keep up, 49 per cent say the garden is as important as any other room in the house and 44 per cent think a mobile phone is important for personal security.
