It'll be ‘live, local and acoustic' down at the Mount Hot Pools when its Soak'n Sunday Sounds events begins this summer.

During January and February, the hot pools will present live music from local artists such as Melissa Cox, Josh Durning, Josh Pow, Brendon McCarthy, Tara Watson and Mike Everard every Sunday, from 7-9pm.

Mount Hot Pools venues' manager Matthew Strange says Soak ‘n Sunday Sounds is just one of a number of exciting initiatives being introduced to the popular salt water pools this summer.

'Another new opportunity is Ship ‘n Dip,” says Matthew”. 'For a great family evening out, come on down and enjoy a hot soak one hour before or after the cruise ship leaves and receive 20 per cent off entry.”

Another initiative, Soak n Stars Midnight Madness, means there will be no rush to get out of the pools on Wednesday, December 30 as they'll be open until midnight.

Matthew says the public often doesn't realise the pools have a variety of temperatures.

'So, if you want to cool off or heat up over the summer come and hang around the pool.”
