Chilling out at the Mount Hot Pools on a Sunday night is becoming increasingly popular thanks to a new, musical offering.

Soak ‘n Sunday Sounds, which offers live, local, acoustic music, has been introduced at the pools this month, and will continue throughout February.

Mount Hot Pools venues' manager Matthew Strange is thrilled with how this new initiative has taken off.

'The public get the chance to soak while listening to chilled out tunes, and they are loving it. People are coming to the pools specifically for this experience,” he says.

The live music is performed between 7pm and 9pm and comes courtesy of a number of local musicians.

Artists still to perform are: Josh Pow (January 24), Tony Raymond (January 31), Brendon McCarthy (February 7), Tara and Jon – The Native Pomms Acoustic Duo (February 14), Tim Cooper (February 21) and Josh Pow (February 28).

There is no additional cost.
